The course is an open road race course with vehicle traffic. You must follow the Michigan Vehicle Code and wear a ANSI/Snell approved bicycle helmet. RIDE SAFE and have tons of fun!

Fast and furious - the 35 Mile Race attracts the fastest racers in the region. We've broken up the group into waves to prevent congestion of a mass start. Racers are encouraged to choose a wave that matches their approximate average speed.
IMPORTANT - You must start in your assigned wave, which will be indicated on the back of your number plate. If you start in the incorrect wave, you will be subject to disqualification.

35 Mile Race placements receive medals and cash prizes through 3rd Place in each division.
1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50
Additionally, the fastest male and fastest female on the 35 mile route will receive a $250 cash prize, a signature Melting Mann Wood Medallion and be deemed the 2022 Melting Mann and Melting WoMann.
